The Ukrainian military repulsed 17 enemy attacks in the Kupiansk direction and are exhausting the enemy in the Kherson direction. Units of the missile forces hit six areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
Russian shelling
During the past 24 hours, 81 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched 11 missiles and 34 air strikes and launched 62 MRLS attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Airstrikes hit the following settlements:
Leonivka, Chernivtsi Khutir in the Chernihiv region ;
Synkivka in the Kharkiv region ;
Serebryansk forestry in the Luhansk region ;
Georgiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
About 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The situation at the fronts
In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks in the Synkivka area of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops.
The occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Lyman's direction.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
Defence forces repelled 25 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and 15 attacks near Sieverne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to contain the enemy in Mariinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled four attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the invaders did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia area, the Defense Forces repulsed all enemy attacks in Robotyne and north-western Verbove of the Zaporizhia region.
The offensive of the Armed Forces
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions.
Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out 17 unsuccessful assaults, received a decent repulse and retreated.
Losses of the enemy
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 18 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and five anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy. Also, the anti-aircraft defence destroyed the 1 Kh-59 guided air missile and two reconnaissance UAVs of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces hit six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a radar station, two artillery facilities, three ammunition depots and the enemy's control post.
