France will increase the supply of ammunition to Ukraine in 2024

During the meeting of the Ukrainian and French delegations in Kyiv, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk said that Ukraine had already received funds for the additional purchase of the Caesar self-propelled guns. In particular, he thanked France for the continuous supply of ammunition to these systems and emphasized the importance of increasing the number of firearms.

In particular, the parties considered strengthening cooperation in the defense sphere and establishing logistical support between Ukraine and France.

France is making all possible efforts to help Ukraine. Our Support Fund is trying to cover part of the costs of purchasing some spare parts and weapons for the Ukrainian side. We understand Ukrainian needs, so next year France will increase the supply of ammunition, Jean-Francois Doc said.

Aid to Ukraine from France

France is one of the main allies of Ukraine, which supported our country at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian invaders. During the war, Paris provided us with humanitarian and military aid.

The French MFA representative, Anne-Claire Legendre, recently stated that Paris is close to agreeing and concluding a bilateral agreement with Ukraine on security guarantees for our state.

During his visit to Kyiv at the end of September, the French Minister of Defense, Sebastien Lecornu, met with the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The parties discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defenses and the possibility of joint production of certain weapons. This month, the minister announced that Paris will allocate another 200 million euros to our country's support fund.
