Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% has increased by 6.7 kg to 128.3 kg since the last report on September 4.
This is more than three times the approximately 42 kg. According to the IAEA definition, it is theoretically enough to create a nuclear bomb with further enrichment, Reuters inrofms.
Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons
According to the ex-chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, Iran is capable of developing nuclear weapons in a few months, but the United States will not allow it to do so.
The Israeli Defense Ministry also said that Iran has already accumulated enough fissile material to create five nuclear bombs.
White House NSA Jake Sullivan said that the United States intends to take all necessary measures to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
