In Ukraine, 64 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the day. The defense forces continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces.
Russian attacks
In total, the enemy carried out two missiles, and 29 air strikes carried out 47 attacks from MRLS on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
At night, the Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine, using five uncrewed aerial vehicles of the "Shahed-136/131" type. The forces and means of air defence destroyed all attack UAVs.
Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region, suffered airstrikes; Terny, Zvanivka, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka of the Donetsk region; Krynky, Olhivka, Kherson region.
More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The situation at the fronts
In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupian direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks in Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region.
In Lyman's direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks near Makiivka in the Luhansk region and east of Terny in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region. The defence forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy regarding personnel and equipment and are entrenched at the achieved frontiers.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. So, 16 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and another 11 - south of Tonenke, Nevelske and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region were repelled.
In the Mariinkadirection, the defence forces continued to contain the enemy in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region, where four attacks were repelled.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions toward Shakhtarsk.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Melitopol direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to actively inflict losses in personnel and equipment on the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In Kherson's direction, the Defense Forces will continue to maintain occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, conduct a counter-battery fight, and inflict fire damage on the enemy's rear.
Losses of the enemy
During the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces struck the area of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and two anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces hit four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, artillery and ammunition depots of the enemy.
