During the day, the Ukrainian military repelled a series of attacks by the criminal army of the Russian Federation on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and the Avdiivka region of the Donetsk region.
What is known about the AFU's successes and the consequences of the attacks of the Russian Army on Ukraine
It is noted that during the day, the Ukrainian military engaged in battle with units of the occupying Russian Army 54 times.
Thirteen enemy attacks on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region were repulsed. The Russian occupiers suffered numerous losses as a result of the successful work of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Defense Forces are also deterring enemy offensive attempts in the Avdiyivka region of Donetsk region.
Over the past 24 hours, our aviation has struck 11 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and three anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy.
The units of the missile forces hit three anti-aircraft missile systems, the area of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, seven artillery means and three radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy.
At the same time, during the day, the enemy fired nine rockets at Ukraine and carried out 55 airstrikes and 79 shellings with MLRS on Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure objects.
The Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine once again, using Kh-59 guided missiles against the cities of Dnipro and Odesa, the Iskander missile against Zaporizhzhia, and S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against civilian objects in the central part of the city of Kharkiv.
The Kh-59 guided missile was destroyed by anti-aircraft defense. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential and multi-apartment buildings, hotels, hospitals, and other civil and industrial infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Airstrikes hit the following settlements:
Archypivka in the Chernihiv region;
Tovstodubove in theSumy region;
Synkivka, Pishchane in the Kharkiv region;
Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nadiya and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region;
Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka and Staromayorske in the Donetsk region;
Tyagynka and Kherson in theKherson region.
About 150 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
What is known about the situation in certain areas of the front
On Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
On Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
On Kupiansk's direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks in the Synkivka settlement of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
In Lyman's direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled nine attacks by the occupiers near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. During the past day, the defence forces repelled five enemy attacks near Stepove, Avdiivka and another 13 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to contain the enemy in Krasnohorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled eight attacks.
In the direction of Shakhtarsk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two enemy attacks near Priyutne, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Defense Forces repelled four attacks by the occupiers west of Verbove and east of Kopani.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue measures to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out 13 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces. The defense forces of Ukraine continue to actively inflict losses in personnel and equipment on the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
What is known about current and total enemy losses
According to the General Staff, during the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military eliminated 960 Russian invaders.
The total losses of the Russian Army since the beginning of the war are:
personnel - about 359 230 (+960) people were liquidated;
tanks – 5 977 (+8) units;
armoured fighting vehicles - 11 070 (+17) units;
artillery systems - 8 464 (+30) units;
MLRS - 943 (+4) units;
air defence units - 623 (+2) units;
aircraft – 329 units;
helicopters – 324 units;
UAV operational-tactical level - 6 591 (+37) units;
cruise missiles - 1 709 (+1) units;
ships/boats - 23 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 11 292 (+48) units;
special equipment - 1 268 (+8) units.
