Air Forces: 14 "Shahed" UAVs to been shot down overnight by air defence

The occupiers of the Russian Federation attacked Ukrainian cities with "Shahed" drones on the night of November 22. Ukrainian air defense shot down all the drones.

The Air Force announced the results of its work

According to the military, the occupiers attacked from the south-eastern direction with 14 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type.

In addition, the Kh-22 cruise missile was launched from the Tu22M3 aircraft.

As a result of combat operations, all 14 enemy drones, "Shahed-131/136", were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Forces.

Units of mobile fire groups, fighter aircraft and missile units were involved in the elimination of drones within the boundaries of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions, the Air Forces reported.

As for the Kh-22 cruise missile, it did not reach its goal; it fell in the Zaporizhzhya region in an open area, and the blast wave damaged the private houses of citizens. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

What is known about the attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine

The Russian army once again shelled several regions. First, it became known that the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the Odesa region. Port infrastructure was damaged.

Later, the head of the Zaporizhzhya RMA, Yuriy Malashko, reported that Russia had launched a missile attack on one of the districts of the regional centre.

Later, it became known that Ukrainian soldiers destroyed an enemy drone this evening, November 21, over the Sinelniky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Kyiv OVA reported that the air defence system was operating in the region. The enemy launched Shahed-type drones.

It was also reported about explosions in Sumy during the air raid alert. At 19:52, an air alert was announced in the city and region.

The Air Force of Ukraine then reported the threat of missile danger from the Russian Federation.
