Britain condemned use of missiles from North Korea by Russian army in Ukraine

The United Kingdom strongly condemns Russia's decision to use ballistic missiles, sourced from North Korea, in recent attacks on Ukraine. We call on North Korea to stop supplying weapons to Russia, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Britain.

According to the British ministry, new sanctions may be imposed against North Korea for the transfer of missiles to Russia.

Britain will continue to work with its partners to ensure that North Korea pays a heavy price for supporting Russia's unprovoked war in Ukraine, the British officials said in a statement.

North Korea supplies Russia with weapons for the war against Ukraine.

According to American intelligence, it became known that Russian ships have regularly visited the North Korean seaport of Rason since August. North Korea sent about 2,000 containers of weapons to Russia so far.

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said the United States is concerned about military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.

The coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, said that Russia bought ballistic missiles from North Korea. They have already been used for attacks on Ukraine.

Recently WP reported that North Korea could have handed over several dozen ballistic missiles to Russia for strikes against Ukraine.
