North Korea actively shipped ammunition to Russia throughout the fall of 2023. According to Ukrainian intelligence, it is about a million artillery shells.

North Korea supplies Russia with 122 mm and 152 mm artillery shells

North Korea has been providing Russia with ammunition since the fall of 2023.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) representative, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, said this.

The main ammunition supplied from North Korea is 122 mm and 152 mm, he clarifies.

According to DIU estimates, about one million such artillery munitions were delivered to the Russian Federation.

It is precisely the deficit that Moscow has with shells and cannot cover at the expense of its production, Skibitskyi notes.

Answering a question about the North Korean supply of ballistic missiles to Moscow and their use in Ukraine, the DIU representative emphasised that relevant information is currently being collected.

When the data is to confirmed, then we will talk more, he finally said.

North Korea could transfer ballistic missiles to Russia

On January 4, the coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, said that Russia had purchased ballistic missiles from North Korea. They have already been used for attacks on Ukraine.

According to The Wall Street Journal, North Korea could hand over several dozen ballistic missiles to the Russian army for strikes against Ukraine.

Later, there was information that the occupiers hit Kharkiv with North Korean missiles. Subsequently, the Prosecutor's office confirmed this and provided details.

The White House recently announced that the Russian occupiers will continue to fire ballistic missiles at Ukraine from North Korea. But North Korea denies this supply.
