General Staff Latest: 102 combat clashes occur on front line over past day

In Ukraine, 102 combat clashes occurred at the front in a day. The invaders continued to put pressure on the Avdiivska direction and significantly intensified in the Novopavliske direction.

What is known about the Russian attacks?

In total, the enemy launched eight missiles and 75 air strikes, firing 141 salvo rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other objects of civil infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

At the end of the last day, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine, using ten unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed" type. Air defence forces destroyed all enemy drones.

During the past day, the settlements of Chernatske, Chuykivka, Khrapivshchyna, Grabovske, Yunakivka, and Pustohorod of the Sumy region were hit by airstrikes; Bolohivka, Ivanivka and Berestove Kharkiv region; Vyimka, Vesele, Bohdanivka, Druzhba, Novoselivka Persha, Pervomaiske, Kurakhove, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Staromayorske and Urozhaine of the Donetsk region; Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region; Molodizhne of the Kherson region.

More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

The situation at the fronts

In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 13 unsuccessful attacks in the Synkivka and Tabaiivka settlements of the Kharkiv region.

In Lyman's direction, the Defence Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Terny and Rozdolivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks in the Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 25 enemy attacks near the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Novomykhailivka and west of Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 29 times. Also, four more enemy attacks were repelled in the areas south of Vugledar, Staromayorske and Urozhaine of the Donetsk region.

In the Orikhiv direction, defence forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the Malynivka and the Roboyne settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kherson's direction, the Defence Forces will continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful assault on our troops' positions on the Dnipro River's left bank.

Losses of the enemy

During the past day, the defence forces' aviation struck 15 areas of enemy personnel concentration. Also, Air Force units destroyed 2 Su-34 fighter-bombers and four reconnaissance UAVs.

Units of missile troops damaged four areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, two artillery systems, one anti-aircraft warfare system and two enemy radar stations.
