The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 389,560 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian Army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 810 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was damaged:
tanks — 6,348 (+5) units,
armoured personnel vehicles — 11,822 (+4) units,
artillery systems — 9,349 (+18) units,
MLRS − 979 (+0) units,
anti-aircraft warfare systems — 664 (+1) units,
aircraft — 332 (+0) units,
helicopters — 324 (+0) units,
UAV operational-tactical level — 7,173 (+0) units,
cruise missiles — 1,848 (+0) units,
warships/boats — 24 (+0) units,
submarines — 1 (+0) units,
vehicle and fuel tanks— 12,412 (+19) units,
special equipment — 1,486 (+7) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kypiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed three enemy attacks in the Terny district of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka and Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
During the past 24 hours, the defense forces repelled 31 enemy attacks in the Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka area and another 13 attacks near Tonenke, Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the enemy near Georhiiivka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where 14 attacks were repulsed.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions toward Shakhtarsk.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks north of Priyutny and Robotiny in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson's direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold positions and repulse the assaults of the occupying forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assault actions, — notes the General Staff.
