The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
During the day, 53 combat clashes took place.
In total, the enemy carried out two missiles and 41 air strikes. The enemy carried out 28 attacks from MLRS on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
On Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, carries out shelling of populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
The occupiers carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Graniv and Hryhorivka of the Kharkiv region. More than 50 settlements were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled four attacks near Synkivka of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to break through the defence of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Pischane in the Kharkiv Oblast and Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk Oblast.
In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack near the Terny region of the Donetsk region and four more attacks near Makiivka, Bilogorivka, and Serebryansky Forestry of the Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops. The occupiers carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Serebryansk Forestry of Luhansk Oblast and Terny and Rozdolivka of the Donetsk Oblast.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repulsed seven attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bohdanivka, Khromove, Klishchiivka, Bila Gora, and Mayorske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled nine attacks by the occupiers in Stepove and Avdiivka. Also, five attacks were repelled near Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and Vodyane of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy near Georgiyivka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position 16 times.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Shakhtarsk's direction. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the districts of Staromayorske and Novodarivka.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, our defenders repulsed an enemy attack near Robotyne, where the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to restore their lost position.
In the Kherson direction, the regional centre of the Kherson region, the districts of Shlyakhove, Beryslav, and Antonivka of the Kherson region and Solonchaky, Chornomorka of the Mykolaiv region were subjected to enemy artillery fire.
