The Ukrainian military repelled 23 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions and repelled the assaults of the occupying forces in the Kherson direction. Aviation struck 11 areas of enemy personnel concentration.
What is known about Russian shelling
During the past day, 86 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched four missiles and 74 air strikes and fired 101 MLRS at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other objects of civil infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.
Airstrikes hit the following:
Babelivka in the Sumy region ;
Vovchansk, Ivanivka and Stepova Novoselivka of the Kharkiv region ;
Yampolivka, Andriivka, Hryhorivka, Toretsk, Druzhba, Kostyantynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Umanske, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, Vugledar, Urozhanie of the Donetsk region ;
Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region .
Artillery fire struck over 150 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
The situation at the fronts
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched two attacks in the Synkivka settlement of the Kharkiv region, trying to improve their tactical position.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repulsed 13 enemy attacks in the Belogorivka settlements of the Luhansk region and Terny, Spirne and Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, defence forces repelled six enemy attacks in the Andriivka and Klishchiivka settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 23 enemy attacks in the Berdychi, Tonenke, Orlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Georgiivka, Pobieda, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 27 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks in the Robotyne and Vervove regions of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Defence Forces will continue to hold positions in the Kherson direction. Despite significant losses, the enemy doesn't stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assault actions.
Losses of the enemy
During the day, the aviation of the defence forces struck 11 areas of enemy personnel concentration.
Units of the AFU missile forces damaged one area of concentration of personnel, two anti-aircraft defence systems, one EW station and one enemy warehouse of fuel and lubricating materials.
