What is happening in different parts of the front
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 18.00 on 02/29/2024.
During the day, 73 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched two missiles, made 79 air strikes and 90 MLRS shellings at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Kupiansk direction, the defence forces repelled two enemy attacks in Petropavlivka and Tabaiivka settlements of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to knock our troops out of their positions.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Terny and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of our troops.
In the Bakhmut direction, the defence forces repelled two enemy attacks in the Ivanivske and Klishchiivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve their tactical position.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 22 enemy attacks in Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske and Nevelske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In Novopavlivsk's direction, the defence forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of our troops 22 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, the defence forces repelled an enemy attack in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region.

New AFU's successes in the war against Russia
During the day, the aviation of the defence forces struck ten areas of enemy personnel concentration.
Also, the Air Force downed three Russian Su-34s.
AFU missile troops units damaged two areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, three MLR systems BM-21 "Grad", one ammunition depot and one enemy' ’ electronic warfare system.
