The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 406,080 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,130 Russian invaders during the day, and the following equipment was destroyed:
tanks — 6,516 (+13) units,
armoured personnel vehicles — 12,338 (+70) units,
artillery systems — 9,826 (+53) units,
MLRS — 992 (+4) units,
anti-aircraft warfare systems — 678 (+3) units,
aircraft — 338 (+0) units,
helicopters — 325 (+0) units,
UAV operational-tactical level — 7,560 (+39) units,
cruise missiles — 1,903 (+1) units,
warships/boats — 25 (+0) units,
submarines — 1 (+0) units,
vehicles and fuel tanks — 12,861 (+56) units,
special equipment — 1,558 (+7) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the direction of Kupiansk, the enemy made two unsuccessful offensive attempts in the Synkivka area of the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked our units eight times near Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Terny and Vyimka of the Donetsk region.
In Bakhmut's direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Ivanovske in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Lastochkyne, Sieverne, and Nevelske settlements of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region. Here, the occupiers made 20 attempts to break through the defence of our troops.
In the direction of Novopavlivsk, the enemy tried seven times to improve his tactical position south of Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers will continue to hold positions and repulse the assaults of the occupying forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful assault, — notes the General Staff.
