The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to kill Russian troops. The total number of Russian army casualties since the beginning of the invasion is 363,870.
What is known about losses of Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces killed 800 Russian occupants over the course of the day, and destroyed the following equipment:
tanks - 6018 (+7) units;
armored combat vehicles - 11,158 (+16) units;
artillery systems - 8617 (+13) units;
multiple launch missile systems - 950 (+1) units;
air defence equipment - 633 (+2) units;
aircraft - 329 units;
helicopters - 324 units;
UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 6787 (+16) units;
cruise missiles - 1,786 units;
ships/boats - 23 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 11,478 (+15) units;
special equipment - 1317 (+4) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhansky directions , the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to fighting positions, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupyan direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka settlement of Kharkiv region.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Lyman direction .
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 3 enemy attacks near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. So, during the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks in the Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka districts and another 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the defenders continue to hold off the invaders near Maryinka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 15 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the invaders did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defence Forces repelled an enemy attack in the Robotyne area of Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defence Forces continue measures to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. In particular, during the past day, the enemy carried out 13 unsuccessful assault actions.
