The Ukrainian military continues to eliminate the Russian military. The total number of Russian army casualties since the beginning of the invasion is 360,82 servicemen.
What is known about the losses of Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces killed 810 Russian occupiers and destroyed the following equipment over the course of the day:
tanks - 5990 (+7) units;
armored fighting vehicles - 11,100 (+13) units;
artillery systems - 8531 (+49) units;
multiple launch missile systems - 945 (+2) units;
air defence equipment - 626 (+1) units;
aircraft - 329 units;
helicopters - 324 units;
UAVs of operational-tactical level - 6710 (+53) units;
cruise missiles - 1710 (+1) units;
ships/boats - 23 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 11,365 (+35) units;
special equipment - 1284 (+7) units.
What is the situation at the front?
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to the frontline, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 attacks near Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka, in the Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
The occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Lyman direction.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 10 enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, the zone of responsibility of the Tavriya operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, during the past day, the Defence Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and another 19 attacks in the Pervomaisky and Nevelsky districts in the Donetsk region.
The occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Maryinka and Shakhtar directions.
In Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defence Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the zone of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers will continue measures to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out 19 unsuccessful assault actions.
