Andrii "Lyudoid" Limontov, a soldier of the Shaman special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, spoke in an exclusive interview to online.ua about his dream weapon and impressive moments in the war.

He ran with a machine gun, like in a computer game

I remember they lined up behind the armor in a column. My friend then tells me: "Everyone is going in a concentrated manner. I will return to Andryusha, and there is such a smile! The happiest person!".

I thought: "Finally! Finally! Finally, now I shoot half a BC at a time and will not carry all my ammunition. I was running there like in a computer game.

I take half a box and pour it out. I have to run to another street - I run across, and there are boxes of cartridges. I am those cartridges - here. But it was, of course, cool.

Normally I actually shot there. I just think: all these months of training, these training grounds, it's endless... Everyone goes with a bow, for example, well, or with some such weapon.

And Andryusha with a machine gun, with PCM walks So [during training] I would have all these boxes on me.

I think: finally my time has come! And here are two more machine guns! Imagine, two machine guns! Dream! If I could put two, I would put two. But it was, of course, strong.

If you are destined to die, you will die

Sometimes you have to make a decision very quickly, especially when you are somewhere under fire. And the life of the boys nearby depends on this decision, as well as yours. That's why it's all intuitive and by feeling. And the more a person is knowledgeable in some area, the more he will look for what not to do, what is wrong.

The same with battles. We had a brother, Ruslan. He approaches and says: "I want to buy a set-top box." We are not at home. Is it worth spending money on it or not." I say: "But buy it, it's a set-top box, you'll be fine." And he used to worry about whether to buy or not to buy.

Unfortunately, he died, but for me this story "does or does not do, does or does not do"... You don't know what will happen tomorrow.

I'm not saying to do some crap, go somewhere to get dirty, like "you have to try everything in life". But if you are hesitating whether to propose to a girl, spend more time with your family or something else... You need to appreciate what you have.

It seems to me that this chuika is some kind of life experience. Everyone has his own. And the more a person goes through some difficult situations, really difficult, the more he gains experience and wisdom. When you have such feelings, you need to listen to them. This is my case, I don't know how it is for other people.

But when, there is some kind of operation — and someone says "There te-te-te." I say: "Everything will be fine, everything will be great!"

I remember that there are young guys sitting there, for whom this is almost the first time in combat. I approach, so I say: "Everything is fine, you will not die, everything is fine." And we fly... It was fun. It is necessary to support. Because the more difficult some situations are, the more human wisdom there is, apparently.

I think it depends on the person. Just who has seen some difficult situations in life and so on. Well, you understand there. Well, like, yes, yes. If you are destined to die, you will die. When someone flies nearby...

As we had on the boats: the leg of the fellow next to him is torn off. Well, that's all, he's alive, thank God, he's healthy. He now has a carbon prosthesis. So, somehow it is like this: some, apparently, higher forces are doing something for you.
