One-time assistance from April 1 — how to get it

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, made an official statement on this matter.

Starting today, April 1, payments of UAH 1,500 will start as part of the targeted support program for pensioners and vulnerable categories. It will be received by old-age pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, IDPs among recipients of social payments, large families, and single mothers.

According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, if a citizen of Ukraine simultaneously belongs to several categories of recipients, the payment will be made in one go.

Yulia Svirydenko drew attention to the fact that the money will be credited once during the current month to bank accounts or through Ukrposhta.

What is important to understand is that no additional applications or requests are required.

The program is designed to support those who, due to their income level, are feeling the impact of rising global fuel prices. And this affects the cost of essential products and services,” Svyridenko explained.
