Russia dropped 250 aerial bombs on Avdiivka in two weeks

In the first two weeks of 2024, Russian terrorists dropped about 250 aerial bombs on Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), Vadym Filashkin, reported this information.

The enemy dropped about 250 guided aerial bombs on Avdiivka during the first two weeks of the new year. The intensity of shelling of Avdiivka has increased many times, Filashkin said.

According to him, the city suffered 146 airstrikes in 2023.

The RMA head also reported that 1,131 people remain in Avdiivka, and the evacuation is ongoing. In particular, 71 residents, including nine children, were evacuated from the front line over the past day.

Russian offensive on Avdiivka

At the beginning of October, the Russian occupiers intensified the fighting in the Avdiivka area. This offensive is considered the largest since 2014.

As early as mid-December, according to the White House, Russian terrorists lost more than 13,000 casualties along the Avdiivka-Novopavlivka axis. In particular, our soldiers destroyed more than 220 combat vehicles.

The head of the Avdiivka city military administration, Vitalii Barabash, said earlier that logistics remains the biggest problem for the city. Food and other necessary things are brought in only by one route, which is dangerous.
