Russia's occupiers are intensifying filtering measures in Crimea due to new sabotage acts

Russia's army

The Kremlin instructed the border service of the FSB of the Russian Federation to strengthen the counterintelligence regime at the administrative border of the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and the Kherson region.

Russia is strengthening security measures in the occupied Crimea

As noted, special attention is paid to protecting road and railway bridges between the Chongar and Crimean peninsulas.

This direction supports the grouping of troops in the occupied territory of Crimea and the rear support of groups in the Kherson and Zaporizhia directions.

After the occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region, the enemy did not remove the checkpoint from the administrative border between the temporarily occupied territory of the Republic of Crimea and the Kherson region. These objects were used by the Russian special services to carry out "filtration measures" of the civilian population, the National Resistance Center informs.

At that moment, the invaders additionally equipped the "Chongar" checkpoint with a system of scanning and monitoring cars using X-rays.

In addition, the occupiers carefully inspect cars with registration numbers of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, both of the Ukrainian and Russian models.

The National Resistance Center calls on citizens to be especially careful when crossing these checkpoints, the message noted.

What is the situation in Crimea?

In general, explosions are heard more and more often in Crimea. Our defenders have already conducted dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses and ships.

On January 4, powerful explosions were heard in Sevastopol and Yevpatoria. Before that, the Russian occupiers blocked traffic on the Crimean bridge.

Later, the AFU StratCom announced that a junction point of the Russian occupying forces was hit near occupied Sevastopol. The Air Force commander, Mykola Oleschuk, said that the operation was carried out with the help of Ukrainian pilots.

Also, the Air Force struck the Saky airfield, where another enemy control point was located.
