Situation at the front — the AFU repelled over 130 attacks by the occupiers

In total, 132 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. The defense forces continue to stop the enemy, destroy personnel and exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire damage.

  • Operational information reveals intense air strikes, shelling of settlements, and ongoing clashes across multiple directions including North Slobozhansk, Kursk, South Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Lyman, Slavyansk, Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, Hulyaipil, Orikhiv, and Dnieper.

Operational information as of 22:00 04/01/2026 regarding the Russian invasion was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy carried out 36 air strikes, dropped 130 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 5,933 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,783 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.

  • Two clashes took place today in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions , the enemy carried out two air strikes, dropping eight guided bombs, and carried out 73 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

  • In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Krasne Pershe.

  • In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled nine enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosinove. Two clashes are still ongoing.

  • In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to advance six times towards the settlement of Lyman. One clash is ongoing. The defense forces are holding positions in the territory of Luhansk region.

  • In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Yampol, and another clash is still ongoing.

  • The defense forces successfully repelled sixteen enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka direction , near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Stepanivka, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.

  • In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 28 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Hryshyne and Filiya. Four clashes are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 90 occupiers were eliminated and 50 were wounded; two vehicles and seven units of special enemy equipment were destroyed, one vehicle was damaged. 124 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

  • In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders tried to improve their position five times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Berezove, and Novohrygorivka. One clash is currently ongoing.

  • In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 18 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychny, Hulyaipil, Tsvitkove, Girky, Svyatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Myrny. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenske, Verkhnya Tersa, and Hulyaipil. Three more clashes are ongoing.

  • In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Mykilske and Tavriyske.

  • In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted two futile assault operations in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilogruy Island.
