Operational information as of 16:00 04/01/2026 regarding the Russian invasion was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, an enemy attack on the positions of our troops near the settlement of Myropylske continues. In addition, the enemy carried out 63 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, one of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to improve its position eight times in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka. Five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Lyman.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 13 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Stepanivka, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 18 times to push our soldiers out of the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and Filiya. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy has advanced three times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrovgrad and Novohrygorivka. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled ten enemy attacks in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychny, Hulyaipil, Tsvitkove, Girky, Svyatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Myrny. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhensky, Verkhnya Tersa, and Hulyaipil. Three more clashes are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Mykilske and Tavriyske.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted two futile attacks towards the Antoniv Bridge and near the Bilogruy Island.
