By the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Air Force took stock. Commander Mykola Oleschuk outlined the main achievements of our sky defenders.
What are the losses of the Russian army during the two years of the war
Mykola Oleschuk noted that it is not easy to record the statistics of the "military routine", because it is updated almost every hour. We are talking about Russian A-50s and "dryers", Iranian kamikaze drones of the "Shaheed" type and "invincible missiles".
In particular, statistics are updated by enemy control points, cruisers, submarines and entire fleet headquarters. At the same time, dozens of brilliant operations were carried out by the Air Force during this time.
According to the Air Force, in general, in cooperation with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the following were destroyed:
1,905 missiles of various types (among them 43 ballistic and 25 aeroballistic — Kh-47M2 "Dagger");
4,844 — strike drones and 7,660 UAVs of operational-tactical level;
340 — airplanes;
325 - helicopters.
The commander of the Air Force noted that so far such successes are being achieved on Soviet equipment. However, the process of waiting and actively working to ensure that the F-16 finally joins the fight against the aggressor country in the near future continues.
