In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian invaders intensified their assaults, and after a certain "lull" due to bad weather yesterday, they significantly increased their artillery shelling and airstrikes.

After some decrease in the use of drones, artillery and aviation, due to the deterioration of the weather, yesterday the enemy sharply increased both the number of artillery fire and airstrikes, the spokesperson United Press Center of the Tavria direction Oleksandr Shtupun.

In addition, the intensification of ground infantry attacks by the enemy on this part of the front is recorded. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, repelling the assaults of the interventionists, destroyed a large number of Russian armoured military equipment.

In places (the enemy —ed.) uses armored vehicles, many of them are fired by our soldiers, Shtupun said.

The situation in the Avdiivka area

It will be recalled that at the beginning of October, the Russian occupiers intensified their offensive in the Avdiyivka area, which is considered the largest since 2014.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyy, during the month when the enemy intensified near Avdiivka, the Russian Army lost about 10,000 personnel in this direction.

The other day, the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, Oleksandr Shtupun, reported that in the Avdiivka area, Russian troops sent forward several mechanized convoys with armoured vehicles. However, the offensive was unsuccessful, and the invaders lost almost 80% of their techniques.

On November 23, it became known about the beginning of the enemy's third wave of offensive in the Avdiiv direction. Despite active attacks, the enemy continues to suffer heavy losses.
