The Ukrainian military reported on the situation on the left bank of the Kherson region

As noted, a counter-battery struggle continues in the south of Ukraine. During the last day, the Russians did not carry out assault actions, but fired artillery and mortars, in particular in the Krynyk area on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Our soldiers are holding their positions, carrying out measures to strengthen and expand the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper," the message says.

In addition, the occupiers conduct aerial reconnaissance, use a large number of attack drones of various types, and for the first time in ten days, they dared to send a guided aerial bomb from a tactical aircraft, hitting the center of Kherson. The impact was on the fifth floor, a seven-year-old child was injured.

What is happening on the left bank of the Kherson region

We will remind you that in the autumn of 2023 it became known that our soldiers were entrenched on the left bank of the Kherson region, in particular, on a bridgehead near the settlement of Krynka.

On February 6, the DeepState service released a video in which you can see that Ukrainian defenders planted a flag in Krynyky on the left bank of the Kherson region.

According to Forbes, after the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured the bridgehead in the village of Krynky on the left bank of the Dnieper, the Ukrainian marines — mostly the 35th Brigade — are not only holding their positions, but are also slowly advancing toward the nearby settlement of Kozachi Lageri.

During the last few weeks, the Armed Forces managed to destroy 222 units of Russian equipment near Krynyk.

Also, at the end of February, the Defense Forces struck a training ground of Russian troops on the left bank of the Kherson region. About 60 occupiers were destroyed.
