Battle for Avdiivka
On February 17, the AFU Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, decided to withdraw Ukrainian units units from Avdiyivka.
He noted that the Ukrainian defenders fulfilled their military duty with dignity, did everything possible to destroy the best Russian military units, and also caused the occupiers significant losses in personnel and equipment.
