All members of the A-50U crew were destroyed

Ukrainian journalists learned from their sources in the Main Directorate of Intelligence that all 10 Russians who were on the plane died.

DIU insiders claim that it is about five majors, three captains, an ensign and a lieutenant.

In addition, it is emphasized that there were no victims of the plane crash on the ground.

According to the latest data, the military transport aviation of the aggressor country still has seven long-range radar detection aircraft.

The destruction of the Russian A-50U aircraft by Ukraine

On February 23, the Air Force of the Armed Forces together with the DIU managed to shoot down a Russian A-50U long-range radar detection aircraft.

For this, the Ukrainian forces used the Soviet S-200 air defense system.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the A-50U is a new modernized version of the aircraft.

What is important to understand is that its value reaches 350 million dollars.

The Russians used such an air command post for long-range radar detection, control and guidance for strikes on Ukraine with missiles from strategic aviation.

The downing of the A-50U is another serious blow to the potential and capabilities of the terrorist Moscow, — the representatives of the DIU note.

In addition, it later became known that after the downing of the A-50, 5 more Russian aircraft were withdrawn from combat operations.

An additional sign of the success of the joint operation of the GUR and the Air Force is the order to terminate the missions for two Su-35 aircraft, as well as three Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Air Force, which were performing tasks near the N.P. Millerovo - some of them planned to carry out airstrikes near Avdiyivka.
