In Kyiv, a fire broke out in one of the schools in the Darnytsia district. The children were transferred to online education until the end of the week.
What is known about the fire at the school
On January 25, at 8:23 a.m., a fire was reported on Oleksandr Myshuga Street. The rescuers arrived at the emergency scene and found out that the fire broke out in a classroom on the school's second floor.
At 8:56, the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) noted that rescuers quickly extinguished a fire at a school in the Darnytsia district — children and staff of the educational institution were not injured.
A ceiling in the shelter collapsed in Kyiv's school during an air alert
During the air raid in Kyiv on December 22, the roof collapsed due to a burst pipe in the school shelter in 1981, when children were there.
As it turned out, the valve of the heating battery broke there.
The Armstrong-type ceiling with light slabs absorbed water, causing a segment of the suspended ceiling to collapse. People were not injured.
