The border guards of the Chop detachment caught three citizens of Ukraine near the village of Novoselytsia, Uzhhorod district, who were making their way to Slovakia through the mountains.

Evaders from mobilization ran across the Ukrainian-Slovak border

During patrolling, the border team of the "Novoselitsa" department discovered two men who were trying to overcome the barrier fence. The offenders did not respond to the legal demands of the servicemen, so they were stopped only after a warning shot was fired.

This was reported by the State Border Service.

The detainees admitted that another man was walking with them, but he lagged behind them. To search for him, the law enforcement officers raised a drone into the sky. The man was found a kilometer away from his predecessors.

All three had passport documents of Ukrainian citizens with them and turned out to be residents of Ivano-Frankivsk region. They were taken to the border unit for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.

Regarding the two detainees, administrative-procedural documents were also drawn up under Article 185-10 of the Criminal Procedure Code "Malicious disobedience to the lawful order or demand of a military serviceman or an employee of the State Border Service of Ukraine or a member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border."

Later, operatives of the Chopsky detachment managed to identify the person who brought the offenders to the border with the purpose of their further transfer to the territory of Slovakia.

The ferryman turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of the Uzhhorod district. An authorized search was conducted at the man's place of residence, as a result of which the transporter's vehicle, his mobile phone and draft records were seized. A Transcarpathian was detained and reported on suspicion of illegally transporting persons across the state border of Ukraine.

The men were literally like herrings in a jar in the cargo compartment of the bus.

Near the border with Romania, border guards together with the SBU detained a minibus with 34 people in the cargo compartment. The driver is suspected of organizing the illegal movement of persons and has been in the field of view of DPSU operatives for some time.

The organizer of the scheme was looking for "clients" through messenger. Each of the evaders paid 10,000 euros to escape to Romania.

The organizer faces from 3 to 9 years of imprisonment, administrative proceedings have been filed against the other detainees.
