According to Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives, there is a high risk that the fire will spread to neighbouring buildings.

The local authorities have already evacuated people from the shopping centre and nearby premises.

The area of the fire is 1,000 square meters, and 96 people and 36 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing it. The fire was assigned the third degree of severity out of five.

It is worth noting that the local authorities have not yet found the cause of the fire.

A fire at the oil depot is unstoppable in the Bryansk region

On the morning of January 19, drones attacked the Russian oil depot in the Bryansk region.

Subsequently, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) representative, Andrii Yusov, confirmed that it was a new successful special operation of Ukrainian intelligence.

Nice rumble, nice explosive. Such events regularly occur at military facilities of the aggressor state. It is clear that when we are talking about the oil depot, which is involved in the supply of fuel and lubricants to the occupying corps, it complicates the logistics for the occupiers, it disrupts the supply schedules and provides additional opportunities, increases the room for maneuver for our defenders, Andrii Yusov emphasised.

Although the attack by Ukrainian drones took place at approximately 06:40, the fire still cannot be extinguished.

170 firefighters joined the extinguishing process, but everything has been in vain.

In addition, DIU drones also attacked the Tambov gunpowder factory. According to the local population, this object also suffered significant destruction.
