Withdrawal from Avdiivka: what is known
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria", reported that Ukrainian soldiers are taking positions on the second line of defense.
The withdrawal of the personnel from Avdiivka took place in accordance with the plan developed taking into account various scenarios and possible changes in the operational situation. Nevertheless, at the final stage of the operation, under the pressure of the prevailing enemy forces, a number of Ukrainian servicemen were captured.

He added that Ukrainian institutions will turn to international humanitarian organizations and intermediary countries to ensure the enemy's humane treatment of prisoners of war, in accordance with the norms of international humanitarian law, and to return Ukrainian fighters to Ukraine.
Russian losses in Avdiivka
Tarnavskyi reported that during the past day in the Avdiivskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 enemy attacks in the area of Avdiivka, Lastochkino, west of Berdychiv and another 5 attacks — near Pervomaiskyi and Nevelskyi.
Covering the organized withdrawal of our units from Avdiivka, the artillery of the "Tavria" anti-aircraft missile defense system carried out almost 400 fire missions.
The total losses of Russians in manpower in the entire operational area of the "Tavria" anti-aircraft missile defense system over the past day amounted to 609 people, in weapons and military equipment — 21 units (not including UAVs).
In particular, these are 2 tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 1 ATGM, 3 cars. The Defense Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 2 other important enemy facilities. 230 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed.
