This morning, a drone struck a mining and beneficiation plant for the second time in the Russian Kursk region.

What is known about the second attack on the plant in the Kursk region

Around 10:10, the Russian mass media reported that the drone again hit the Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant named after O.V. Varychev in Zheleznogorsk.

The governor of the region confirmed the information from the Telegram channel. According to him, there were no casualties.

The Ukrainska Pravda insiders in the DIU said an attack on the Mikhailovsky mining and beneficiation plant in the Kursk region of Russia — a special operation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).

Measures to defuse objects involved in securing the occupation corps of the aggressor state are underway, sources say.

By the way, the Varychev mining and beneficiation plant is one of the largest iron ore mining and beneficiation enterprises in Russia and the CIS.

What is known about the drone attack in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation

On March 6, Kursk region Governor Roman Starovoit reported a fire at a fuel and lubricant warehouse in Kursk.

He stated that the fuel tank was on fire. According to him, there are no victims, emergency services are on the way.

Russian Telegram channels note that the drone hit a fuel tank on the Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant territory.

The governor of the Voronezh region, Gusev, said that two drones were allegedly shot down over the region. According to him, no one was injured.

Russian Telegram channels write that the drone was supposed to attack the Baltimore military airfield, but it was shot down a few kilometres away.

Drones also allegedly tried to attack an oil depot in the region. Debris fell on the territory of the oil depot.
