A Russian drone attacked civilians during the receiving of bread in the Chernihiv region

In the Chernihiv region on December 23, Russian troops used a drone to attack civilians who were receiving bread. People were not injured.

Drone attack on civilians of Chernihiv region

The police report that the attack took place in one of the border villages of the Novgorod-Siverskyi District.

Peaceful people were being distributed bread in the center of the village and at that time the occupiers carried out a cynical drone attack. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Shrapnel damaged a car with bread. The police documented the crime and opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of laws and customs of war).

The police urged people to evacuate to safer communities deep in the region.

Russians attack civilians with drones

This is not the first case of a Russian drone attack on civilians. On December 6, the occupiers attacked a civilian car in the border area of Chernihiv region with a drone.

On November 30, the Russian army used a drone to attack civilians in Beryslav, Kherson region. The occupiers dropped an explosive device near the administrative building.

As a result of the attack, two people were injured: a 22-year-old boy received an explosive injury, a contusion and leg injury, and a 37-year-old man was diagnosed with a severe neck and head injury.

On October 13, in Beryslav, the occupiers targeted a car with people in it with an attack drone. A 34-year-old woman died on the spot due to multiple injuries. Her 36-year-old husband was hospitalized in extremely serious condition.
