The Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine at night on January 4 with drones and missiles. Air defence forces shot down 21 kamikaze drones.

Air defence forces announced the results of their work

According to the military, on the night of January 7, the occupiers attacked with 28 Shahed-136/131 type kamikaze drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of the Russian Federation and three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region.

The main directions of impact are south and east.

The Air Force notes that the forces and means of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 21 enemy kamikaze drones.

Air missile units and mobile fire groups were repelling the air attack.

The air defence units worked within Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.

What is known about the attack by "Shaheds" on January 6 and 7

On the evening of Saturday, January 6, air defence forces destroyed seven enemy drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

As a result of the attack, a house where 22 families lived was damaged. Rescuers rescued six people, including two children, from under the rubble.

In addition, on the afternoon of January 6, the aggressor hit with S-300 missiles on populated areas of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. More than ten people died, including children. More than 75 houses were damaged.
