How many Russian planes were downed by Ukraine's Air Force
In recent days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed nine Russian aircraft. On Feb. 23, the Defence Forces reported that a Russian A-50U was downed over the Sea of Azov, which was the second destroyed Russian AWACS since the beginning of the war.
On Feb. 21, the Su-34 was downed. Moveover, on Feb. 19, the AFU detroyed two more Russian aircraft in the east. On Feb. 17, the Air Force destroyed three Russian aircraft — two Su-34s and a Su-35 fighter. They were also downed on the eastern front.
