AFU destroyed 13 guns and four tanks on Dnipro's left bank for a day

The defence forces of Ukraine inflict potent blows on the occupiers from the foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. In just one day, 45 Russian occupiers were eliminated in this direction.

AFU's successes on the left bank of the Dnipro River

On January 17, the Ukrainian military eliminated 45 occupiers on the left bank. The fighters also destroyed four tanks, 13 guns, and more.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine report this in Telegram.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict fire damage on enemy locations, positions and rears.

Over the past day, the following was destroyed on the left bank:

  • 45 occupants;

  • 13 guns;

  • four tanks;

  • 18 vehicle units;

  • Four unmanned aerial vehicles, including two kamikaze drones "Lancet" , one FPV and a reconnaissance "Merlin" UAV;

  • Four EW and communication antenna systems;

  • One video surveillance camera;

  • One boat.

In addition, the mobile radar station "Kasta-2E", a storage place for fuel and lubricants, and an observation post were destroyed.

Losses of Russia in the war in Ukraine

According to AFU General Staff, on January 17, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 800 occupiers. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 367,600 troops.

Also, in the Tavria direction, our soldiers eliminated 385 terrorists and destroyed 57 units of enemy military equipment, in particular:

  • Four tanks;

  • 12 armoured personnel vehicles;

  • Six artillery systems.
