The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine promises to continue to take measures to control the airspace near the border of the Belgorod and Kharkiv regions amid the Russian Il-76 military transport plane crash near Belgorod.

Why is Russia involved in the Il-76 plane crash?

The General Staff notes that they will continue to exercise control over the airspace to reduce the missile threat from the aviation of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.

In particular, the Ukrainian military will continue to monitor in detail the missile launch points and supply logistics of the Russian occupiers.

It is noted that this applies personally to enemy military transport aircraft movements.

The recorded intensity of shelling is directly related to the increase in the number of military transport planes that have recently been heading to the Belgorod airfield, the General Staff's commentary explains.

Taking this into account, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to take measures to destroy means of delivery and control the airspace to eliminate the terrorist threat, including in the Belgorod-Kharkiv direction.

In addition, the General Staff reminded that 19 rockets were fired at Kharkiv and the region from Belgorod in the last week alone.
