According to the Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the criminal army of the Russian Federation does not stop trying to capture Sinkivka near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.

Colonel General Syrskyi emphasised that the critical forces of the criminal army of the Russian Federation were concentrated on the capture of Synkivka near Kupiansk.

The enemy does not stop attempting assaults in this area and actively uses artillery.

The main efforts of the enemy were concentrated on pushing out our units from the Kupyan forest and capturing Synkivka, — the Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander emphasises.

Together with the commanders of the military units, they analyzed the possible further actions of the enemy and determined the optimal options for the actions of our troops. They planned the use of reserves and the order of fire damage, — General Syrskyi notes.

At the same time, he assures that the Ukrainian defenders are holding the defence and crushing the enemy despite the difficult situation in the direction of Kupiansk.

What is known about the situation on the northern border

According to the information of the AFU Joint Forces Commander, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev, the accumulation of enemy forces on the north border has not been noticed.
