What is known about the advancement of the Armed Forces in the Robotyne area

Positional fighting continued near the border of Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions on February 12, but there were no confirmed changes to the front line.

Ukrainian and Russian sources said that positional battles continued:

  • to the north of Vugledar near Vodyane;

  • to the southeast of Velyka Novosilka near Prechystivka;

  • to the southwest of Velyka Novosilka near Pryiutne.

Ukrainian troops confirmed an advance west of the Zaporizhzhia region amid ongoing positional battles on February 12.

A geolocation video released on February 12 shows Ukrainian troops advancing west of Pyatykhatky (28 km northwest of Robotyne) near Kamianske, although this advance is likely to have been recent.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively eliminating enemy forces in Zaporozhzhia region

According to the soldiers, a successful operation occurred near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region in February 2024.

The press service of the 65th AFU Separate Mechanized Brigade says that an enemy assault group advanced to storm Ukrainian positions near Robotyne.

However, Ukrainian air reconnaissance and artillery could stop the enemy's military assault.

The enemy retreated with losses, leaving its dead soldiers on the battlefield, the fighters emphasise.

In addition, the 65th AFU Separate Mechanized Brigade press service published a video showing a group of Russian infantry preparing to storm Ukrainian positions.

A reconnaissance drone of Ukrainian defenders responsible for maintaining the front line in the area could record enemy forces' movement as they tried to break out of their trenches.

Immediately after that, Ukrainian artillery and mortars promptly opened fire on the Russian occupiers, forcing them to seek shelter.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone operators deftly targeted Russian infantry, even as some of them tried to hide among two previously knocked-out enemy tanks.
