AFU officer: A rotation of Ukrainian troops took place in Avdiivka

AFU, Avdiivka, rotation

The battle for Avdiivka continues. On February 13, it was officially announced that some units of the 110th separate mechanized brigade in the city were replaced by other units of the Armed Forces.

Rotation in Avdiivka. What is currently known

The speaker of the 110th AFU separate mechanized brigade, named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchko, Ivan Siekach, told about the latest events in the city.

He also noted that their brigade currently does not have all the necessary resources to defend Avdiivka, but reinforcements have already begun to arrive.

For the first time in almost two years of operating the 110th separate mechanized brigade, some units were fully withdrawn from combat actions for rest and rotation. Indeed, reinforcements have arrived. I won't say what this unit is. But this is a powerful support, and we felt slightly calmer when it came.

What is really happening around Avdiivka

Ivan Siekach noted that the Russian invaders had an advantage in aviation, so the Armed Forces could not in any way influence the air raids, the bombing of the city and our positions.

In addition, the Russian army has concentrated a huge number of personnel near the city, which it constantly throws into battle without rest or rotations. The Russians have to sneeze at the losses on this part of the front.

Moreover, the enemy regularly conducts experiments with various groups using armoured vehicles.

They have a task, and they are trying to fulfill it in any way possible, — explained the speaker of the 110th AFU Separate Mechanised Brigade.
