According to the spokeswoman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Nataliia Gumenyuk, in the occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in Crimea, war criminals from the Russian army are looking for representatives of the Ukrainian underground, are preparing for the so-called "elections" of the president of the Russian Federation, and are conducting covert mobilisation for account of men who are caught entering and leaving the Kherson region towards Crimea.
She suggested that Ukrainian partisans may have been involved in the powerful explosions in Berdyansk that happened on January 28.
The resistance movement works in very difficult conditions — under constant pressure from the occupiers, who are looking for those who are involved in this combat work, including. Therefore, every time there is information about the implementation of some actions, we have to wait for a certain time when we can speak and give confirmation or refute the information that is powerfully thrown into the information space, — explains Humenyuk.
According to her, the Ukrainian military takes into account the conditions of the hybrid war unleashed by the Kremlin and never urgently publishes such information.
And during even some suitable explosion "flowers" in a certain direction, it is necessary to make sure that they were not some pests, harmful grains, provoked or falsified by the same occupiers. Are the threats of the Kremlin's propaganda about the offensive of Russia's army in Ukraine real?
She emphasised that currently, Kremlin propaganda is actively "throwing" about the alleged possibility of the occupation army of the Russian Federation launching a new large-scale offensive in the direction of Kherson and, later on, Mykolaiv.
Humeniuk explains that the Russian occupiers are trying to oppose the Ukrainian military and the residents of the southern territories of Ukraine.
The OC "South" spokeswoman added that in the occupied territories of the south of Ukraine, Russian criminals will continue to carry out forced passporting because the Kremlin seeks to imitate the "effect of support" of the local population regarding the holding of "elections".
Accordingly, additional posts have been deployed at certain "points" — at the entrance/exit from the Kherson region to Crimea and in the opposite direction. Other filtering measures are carried out, which are aimed precisely at identifying people as much as possible. That is, Ukrainians who did not receive Russian passports and did not receive Russian citizenship. These are covert mobilisation measures. Because during additional control measures, men of military age are found, who are also taken into account and, including, immediately transferred to form squads of the so-called territorial defense of each settlement.
