AFU

The number of Russian attacks in the Kupyansk direction decreased somewhat after the enemy was repulsed there.

The Russians somewhat reduced the pressure on the Kupyan direction

The Russian occupiers intensified along the entire line in the area of responsibility of the OSTG "Khortytsia". They are attacking both in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction and in the Bakhmut direction. We were repulsed in the Kupyansk direction, and accordingly the number of attacks there decreased somewhat compared to the previous period, the chief of the AFU Ground Forces Command Public relations service Volodymyr Fityo says.

Fityo informed that seven enemy attacks were repulsed in the Kupyansk direction during the day and another six in the Lymansky direction.

Battles also occurred in Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Stelmakhivka, and Serebryansk Forestry.

The AFU Ground Forces Command representative also said that the Russian occupiers continue to use aviation and kamikaze drones. 24 UAVs were launched per day in the Lyman-Kupyan direction. The enemy fired 694 artillery strikes at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in the indicated direction.

It was a good day to eliminate the Russian invaders. 344 occupiers of the previous day were eliminated, and 60 samples of military equipment of the occupiers were damaged or destroyed, among them five tanks and five ACVs, he added.

Kupyansk was again in the risk zone

According to the AFU Ground Forces public relations service chief, Volodymyr Fityo, the Russian army is trying to push through our defences and re-occupy the city in the Kharkiv region.

Yes, the Russian occupiers have not given up their intentions to attack the city of Kupyansk, they want to re-occupy it. Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks in the area — this is near Synkivka, Ivanivka, Volodymyr Fityo says.

According to him, the Russian army intends to enter the borders of Synkivka as they want to develop their success in the offensive on Kupyansk.

We see that the enemy is becoming more active, despite the losses in manpower and equipment, he is not giving up on his plans, and is trying to push through the Ukrainian defense, to find some weak point in the defense, the chief of the AFU Ground Forces public relations service warns.
