AFU struck Russian occupiers cluster in Olenivka, reporting in two dozen casualties

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on a concentration of Russian troops in Olenivka, Donetsk region, using Ukrainian rocket launchers.

It noted the strike was carried out with the help of Ukrainian rocket launchers.

According to preliminary data, 19 occupiers were killed, including the deputy commander of the unit. The AFU General Staff also reports on 12 wounded invaders, including the unit commander.

What is known about the AFU strikes against the Russian army

On Feb. 21, the Armed Forces hit a training ground in the occupied Kherson region at the time of the gathering of Russians there. Up to 60 invaders died.

On Feb. 20, the Armed Forces fired at the Russian training ground in the occupied village of Trudivske in the Donetsk region. The impact of the HIMARS system killed up to 67 Russian soldiers, among them could be the commander.

The Russian BBC Service wrote that the occupiers were gathered in formation before the commander of the 29th Army of the Eastern Military District of the Russian Federation, Oleg Moiseyev, was on his way to them.

On Feb. 29, Russia lost 1,150 invaders, 23 tanks and 41 artillery systems.

Units of the missile forces inflicted damage on:

  • One control point,

  • Two areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration,

  • Four artillery systems,

  • One anti-aircraft warfare system,

  • One EW station,

  • One other important enemy target.
