Ukrainian combat drone Shoolika mk6: what is known

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have already successfully tested a new Ukrainian-made drone.

This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, in Telegram.

Developers from SkyLab UA created the Shoolika mk6 strategic strike drone. The drone can deliver precise strikes and is particularly effective in night operations — it has top-of-the-line night vision systems, he wrote.

According to the minister, the range of the drone reaches up to 10 km, and it can also carry a load of up to 6 kg. It has a high-precision control system and is resistant to the influence of EW.

Fedorov said that the defence forces have already tested the Shoolika mk6 and given their feedback: the drone is essential for tactical operations, especially at night.

He noted that the drone had already been approved for operation and was in the process of receiving NATO codification. The developers also plan to improve the artificial intelligence system for autonomous missions and cameras to better search for targets and change course to adjust air strikes.

Ukraine is armed with its version of "Shahed"

According to Oleksandr Kamyshin, our country had relevant developments seven years ago, which, for some reason, were not produced.

We launched series production. Now we produce dozens of them. Next year, the Armed Forces can receive more than a thousand such drones that fly 1,000+ kilometers, the minister says.

According to his data, as of today, the Ukrainian defence industry can produce dozens of such kamikaze drones, and in the future, it will increase its capacity.

In addition, Oleksandr Kamyshin also confirmed the statement of the head of state, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, that the Defense Ministry can produce a million FPV drones next year.
