On the night of December 12, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 15 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs and two Kh-59 guided air missiles. Air defence forces shot down nine drones and two missiles.

The Air Force reports that the occupiers attacked with "Shahed" type drones from occupied Crimea, this time from the Balaklava area.
Also, on the evening of December 11, anti-aircraft missile units of the "East" air command destroyed two Kh-59 guided air missiles in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk region.
Consequences of shelling of Ukraine
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an enemy drone was shot down in the evening in the Sinelnyk district. The aggressor was struck with heavy artillery in the Nikopol region — the aggressor aimed at the Pokrovsk village and Marganets communities.
In Kharkiv Oblast, more than 19 settlements of Kharkiv Oblast were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire during the day: Okhrimivka, Vovchansk, Budarki of Chuguyiv District, Pletenivka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestovka of Kupyansk District, etc.
In the Kherson region, the enemy carried out 125 shellings, firing 597 shells from mortars, artillery, MRLS "Grads", tanks, UAVs and aviation. One person died, and four others were injured.
