On the night of December 1, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 25 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type and two Kh-59 cruise missiles.

The Air Force announced the results of its work

According to the military, on the night of December 1, 2023, the enemy attacked with attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type from two directions: Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russian Federation.

The occupiers also attacked with cruise missiles from the airspace of the occupied Kherson region.

According to the Air Force, missile defense units and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

The enemy used two LAM cruise missiles Kh-59 and 25 drones of "Shahed-136/131" type. The attack's primary direction is the country's south and east.

As a result of combat operations, 18 kamikadze drones and one Kh-59 cruise missile were destroyed.

What is known about the attacks of the Russian Federation on Ukraine

In recent weeks, the Russian military has resumed massive attacks on Ukraine with the help of missiles and kamikaze drones. So, night on November 30, the enemy attacked with 20 "Shahed" type UAVs. Air defence forces shot down 18 UAVs.

In addition, on November 28, the Russians attacked the Khmelnytskyy district with drones. As a result of the downing of one of the drones by air defense forces, debris fell on the roof of a private house. That same night, the invaders launched a rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih.

A day earlier, the Russian military shelled the residential sector of Nikopol. A woman was injured as a result of the attack.

The day before, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said that the occupiers would probably begin to use drones for strikes on Ukraine much more actively than missiles.
