The Ukrainian Air Force is already capable of "getting" Russian army aircraft at a distance of over 150 km.

The Ukrainian Air Force hunts on Russia's aircraft

The Air Force commander, Lt Gen Mykola Oleschuk, announced the combat use of Russian aircraft the day before at a distance of over 150 km.

Oleschuk reported this on Telegram on Mar.8.

According to the commander, almost every day, the calculations of anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force hunt Russian fighters.

Yesterday, combat work against enemy aircraft took place at a distance of over 150 km. We are still working today, and we are checking the result of the combat work!

The commander noted that the Russians continue to attack Ukrainian positions with guided aerial bombs, but they no longer dare to fly too close.

After significant losses — A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and Su-34/Su-35 fighters — the occupiers significantly reduced the number of airstrikes by guided aerial bombs. There are still no AWACS aircraft in the Sea of Azov and in other directions, which reduces the enemy's capabilities in conducting radar reconnaissance.

General Oleshchuk noted that specific "discussions" have begun among the Russians regarding the military leadership's decisions to "send them one-way back".

Such talks, and possibly sabotage of missions by invaders, will only increase as the Air Force receives more tools from its Western partners to protect the skies from enemy air attacks.

The Air Force successfully eliminated the military target of the Russian Army

On the evening of Mar 4, the Air Force Commander, Lt Gen Mykola Oleschuk, reported on the results of the combat work of one of the units.

Mar. 4, 2024. The occupied Kherson region. Hitting an enemy object with a guided aerial bomb. Burn in hell, orcs!

The commander thanked the Air Force pilots for successful combat work.

On the Ukrainian aerial bomb that hit the enemy target, there is an inscription: "For the children of Odesa! With hatred! No respect!"
