During the night attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine on March 2, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to destroy most of the enemy's enemy targets.

On the night of March 2, 2024, the Russian army launched over Ukraine 3 Kh-59/Kh-35 guided air missiles from the TOT of the Kherson and Donetsk regions and 17 attack drones of the "Shahed" type - the launch areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF, Balakleya - Crimea.

To repel a new enemy attack, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, were involved.

As a result of combat work, 14 "shaheeds" were destroyed by air defense within Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Unfortunately, as a result of hits and falling debris in Odesa and Kharkiv regions, there are dead and injured. Condolences to relatives and friends... - said the statement of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, it is reported that on March 1, around 09:00, in the eastern direction, Ukrainian soldiers managed to shoot down an enemy Su-34 fighter-bomber, which was trying to attack the positions of the Armed Forces with guided aerial bombs.

Russian attack on Odesa and Kharkiv region on March 2. There are victims

A Russian strike drone hit a high-rise building in Odessa. One entrance was completely destroyed.

According to the latest information, seven civilians were injured, including one child. Among the victims is a pregnant woman, she is in an average degree of severity in the hospital.

It is also reported that a 76-year-old man died in the village of Velikiy Burluk, in the Kharkiv region, in his own house due to an attack by Russian military drones.
