Air Forces shot down a Russian missile in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On December 23, soldiers from Shid (East) air defence unit destroyed a missile over the Dnipropetrovsk region. Before that, the air defence forces worked there.

The head of the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that the air defence forces had shot down a missile over the region.

The Eastern Air Command clarified that it was an Kh-59 guided air missile.

As noted, the alert was declared in the Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the Kirovohrad region, where a Russian massive rocket attack took place today.

The activity of enemy tactical aviation was observed there.

Russian shelling of Ukraine: what is known

On 22 December, a civilian resident of Katerynivka in the Donetsk region, died as a result of Russian shelling. Another 10 people were injured.

In total, 1,796 people have been killed and 4,404 injured since the start of the full-scale invasion in the Donetsk region, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Also, over the past day, Russians fired at the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions using various types of weapons. 68 explosions were recorded.

In the frontline settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, 130 hits were recorded in 14 settlements, destroying residential buildings and infrastructure.

In the Kharkiv region, over 20 settlements were shelled in the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Kupyansk districts, and Synkivka was hit by air strikes.

83 Russian attacks were recorded in the Kherson region. Six people were wounded.

On 23 December, air defence destroyed Russian missiles over the Kirovohrad region and drones in the Kryvyi Rih district in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
