The results of yesterday's explosions in Crimea were clarified by representatives of the Crimean Tatar resistance movement, named Atesh. Thus, a successful attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on Russia's military communications hub in Yevpatoriya effectively broke the air defence system of the occupied peninsula.

Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralised Russia’s air defence coordination point in Crimea

On 4 January, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a command post near Yevpatoriya, which was responsible for a secure channel of communication with the Kremlin and the coordination of air defence throughout the peninsula.

Atesh partisans reported this on Telegram.

Our agents conducted a preliminary reconnaissance of the military communications centre near Yevpatoriya, which came under rocket fire yesterday, and passed the information to the Ukrainian defence forces’ headquarters. The agents report the following information: the command post responsible for a secure communication channel with the Kremlin and coordination of air defence of the entire peninsula came under fire. A deep bunker was also hit. As a result, there were several killed occupiers. It is safe to say that Colonel Ismagilov will never again defile Ukrainian soil with his presence.

The air defence system in Yevpatoriya has been damaged. The occupiers moved what survived to the Belbek airfield, according to the Atesh.

We would like to thank our agents and all the residents of Yevpatoriya who helped us once again. This success once again confirms the thesis that even the smallest (at first glance) help can be decisive. We have already provided the defence forces of Ukraine with a lot of data on enemy military facilities in all the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The strikes will not stop until the last occupier leaves the territory of Ukraine, the Atesh said.

Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a military unit of Russian Army in Yevpatoria

4 January turned out to be a good day for the temporarily occupied Crimea. Thus, the military unit of Russian communications officers in Yevpatoriya was attacked.

Ukrainian defence forces struck at the occupiers' military communications unit in Yevpatoriya after receiving data from the Atesh. In the photo, you can see the radar systems whose movements we have been tracking for weeks. The results of our work are visible. This military unit is now on fire. We first wrote about it on 23 August. After our recent reconnaissance, it was attacked. Coordinates: 45.201234, 33.320644.
